Arizona homeowners saw insurance rates jump 62.1% over the last five years. That’s the highest increase in the nation. If you’re locked into one carrier, you’re stuck with whatever they decide to charge you.
When you work with an independent agency, you’re not married to one insurance company. You get access to over 40 top-rated carriers—Progressive, GEICO, USAA, AAA, and dozens more—all competing to earn your business. That means better rates, better coverage, and actual options when your current company jacks up your premium or drops you after a claim.
The difference isn’t small. Chandler drivers and homeowners who compare multiple insurance companies typically save hundreds, sometimes over a thousand dollars a year. You’re not just shopping for cheap car insurance. You’re shopping for the right coverage at the right price, with someone local who picks up the phone when you call.
We’re a family-owned independent insurance agency based right here in Mesa, serving Chandler and the entire East Valley. We’ve earned over 930 five-star Google reviews and were named Agents of the Year in 2023 because we do what most insurance companies won’t: answer the phone, explain your options clearly, and stick around when you need us.
We’re not a call center. We’re not tied to one carrier. We represent over 100 insurance companies, which means we work for you, not them. When rates spike or coverage gets dropped—both increasingly common in Arizona—we can move your policy to a better option without you starting from scratch.
Chandler has grown fast, and so have the risks. More traffic, more accidents, more claims. Insurance companies are responding with rate hikes and stricter underwriting. That’s exactly when having a local agent with access to multiple carriers makes the biggest difference.
First, we talk. You tell us what you’re paying now, what coverage you have, and what’s frustrating you about your current insurance company. Maybe it’s a surprise rate increase. Maybe you filed a claim and suddenly got non-renewed. Maybe you’ve just been with the same company for 15 years and never shopped around.
Then we shop. We run your information through our network of over 40 carriers—including the big names like Progressive Insurance, GEICO car insurance, Direct Auto Insurance, and USAA insurance—plus regional carriers that often beat the national companies on price. We’re looking for the best combination of coverage and cost, not just the cheapest car insurance with gaps that’ll hurt you later.
Finally, we explain your options. No jargon, no pressure. We’ll show you what each policy covers, what it costs, and why one might make more sense than another based on your situation. If you want to switch, we handle the paperwork and can even cancel your old policy for you. If you don’t, that’s fine too. You’ll at least know where you stand.
Ready to get started?
You get a real person who answers the phone. Not a 1-800 number, not a chatbot. A local agent who knows Chandler, knows Arizona’s insurance market, and knows how to navigate it when things get complicated.
You get access to multiple insurance companies under one roof. That includes Progressive Insurance Company, GEICO, Direct Auto, AAA Insurance, USAA car insurance, and dozens of others. Whether you need auto, home, business, or life insurance, we can compare carriers and find coverage that actually fits.
You get ongoing support when life changes. New car, new home, new driver in the household—we adjust your coverage so you’re not overpaying or underinsured. And if your current carrier raises your rates or drops your policy, we can move you to another company without the hassle of starting over.
Arizona auto insurance rates are expected to climb another 22% by the end of 2024. Homeowners insurance isn’t far behind, with some Chandler residents seeing 50% to 100% increases in a single year. The insurance companies pulling out of high-risk areas aren’t doing it quietly—they’re leaving people scrambling. When that happens, having an independent agent with a deep carrier network is the difference between frustration and a smooth transition.
Arizona has seen the highest home insurance rate increases in the country—62.1% over five years. Auto insurance isn’t far behind, with projected increases of 22% by the end of 2024. The reasons are local: more people moving here, more cars on the road, more accidents, and more claims.
Chandler’s population has exploded, and with it, traffic congestion and collision rates. Insurance companies are also pulling back from high-risk areas due to wildfires and extreme weather events. When carriers leave or tighten underwriting, the remaining companies raise rates to cover their risk.
The frustrating part is that even if you haven’t filed a claim, you’re still hit with increases. That’s why comparing insurance companies regularly—especially through an independent agent—has become essential. One carrier might spike your rate while another stays competitive. You won’t know unless you shop.
When you go directly to Progressive Insurance or GEICO car insurance, you’re only seeing their rates and their coverage options. If they raise your premium or deny a claim, your only option is to start over somewhere else.
When you work with an independent insurance agency, you’re comparing multiple companies at once. We can quote Progressive, GEICO, USAA insurance, Direct Auto Insurance Company, AAA insurance, and 40+ other carriers in one conversation. That means you see the full market, not just one slice of it.
The other big difference is service. If you have a question or need to file a claim, you’re calling a local agent who already knows your situation—not a 1-800 number where you’re explaining everything from scratch. And if your current carrier isn’t treating you right, we can move your policy without you having to do the legwork.
It depends on your situation, but Chandler drivers and homeowners who compare multiple carriers typically save between $400 and $1,200 per year. Sometimes more if they’ve been with the same company for a long time and never shopped around.
The biggest savings come from bundling home and auto insurance, which usually cuts 10% to 25% off both policies. But even if you’re just shopping for cheap car insurance, comparing companies makes a difference. One carrier might charge you $150 a month while another offers the same coverage for $95.
The key is comparing apples to apples. A lot of people think they’re getting a great deal until they realize their coverage has gaps. We make sure you’re comparing the same liability limits, deductibles, and endorsements across carriers so you know exactly what you’re getting. Saving money matters, but not if it leaves you exposed when you actually need to file a claim.
It’s happening more often in Arizona. Insurance companies are non-renewing policies after claims, especially if you’ve filed more than one in a few years. They’ll send you a letter saying they’re not renewing your policy, and suddenly you’re scrambling to find coverage before your current policy expires.
That’s where an independent agent makes a huge difference. We already have relationships with over 40 insurance companies, so we can move your policy quickly. Some carriers specialize in insuring people who’ve been dropped or have claims history. They’re not always the cheapest, but they’re often better than the high-risk market or going uninsured.
The worst thing you can do is wait until the last minute. If your insurance company has dropped you or you think it’s coming, call us as soon as possible. The more time we have, the more options we can find. And if you’re worried about your rates going up, we’ll be straight with you about what to expect and how to keep costs manageable.
Arizona’s minimum car insurance requirements are low—$25,000 per person for bodily injury, $50,000 per accident, and $15,000 for property damage. That might sound like enough until you’re in an accident with someone driving a $60,000 truck or someone gets seriously hurt and the medical bills hit $100,000.
If you cause an accident and the damages exceed your coverage, you’re personally responsible for the difference. That can mean wage garnishment, liens on your property, or bankruptcy. Chandler has plenty of expensive cars on the road, and medical costs in Arizona aren’t cheap. Minimum coverage leaves you exposed.
We usually recommend at least $100,000/$300,000 in liability coverage, plus uninsured motorist protection. It doesn’t cost as much as you’d think—often $20 to $40 more per month—and it protects you if someone without insurance hits you. When we compare insurance companies for you, we’ll show you what full coverage looks like versus the bare minimum so you can make an informed choice.
Yes. We handle auto, home, business, and life insurance through our network of over 100 carriers. A lot of Chandler residents don’t realize that the same independent agent who helps them save on car insurance can also set up a commercial policy for their business or a term life policy to protect their family.
Business insurance is especially important if you’re self-employed or run a small company. Whether you need general liability, commercial auto, workers’ comp, or a business owner’s policy, we can compare options and find coverage that fits your industry and budget.
Life insurance is straightforward when someone explains it clearly. We’ll walk you through term versus whole life, how much coverage makes sense for your situation, and what it actually costs. No pressure, no confusing sales pitch. Just clear answers so you can decide what’s right for you and your family.
