Here’s what changes when you work with an independent agent instead of calling Progressive, GEICO, or USAA directly. You’re not locked into one company’s rates or rules.
We compare quotes from over 40 top-rated carriers at once. That means you see what Direct Auto offers next to AAA insurance, what USAA car insurance costs compared to cheaper options, and whether Progressive insurance actually fits your situation. Most Goodyear drivers save up to $3,059 just by comparing.
You’re also not dealing with a call center in another state. You get a local agent who picks up the phone, sits down with you if needed, and actually explains what you’re buying. No chatbots. No transfers. Just real help when your rates spike or your coverage falls short.
Premier Choice Insurance is a family-owned independent agency based in Arizona. We’ve been helping drivers across Goodyear, Buckeye, Avondale, and the West Valley find better car insurance after their rates doubled or their claims got mishandled.
We’re not Progressive. We’re not GEICO. We represent over 40 insurance companies, which means we work for you, not them. Our job is to find the policy that actually covers what you need at a price that doesn’t blindside you next year.
We’ve earned 930+ five-star Google reviews and won Agents of the Year in 2023 because we do what the big companies won’t. We answer the phone. We review your policy when life changes. And we don’t charge you extra for any of it.
First, we talk. You tell us what happened with your current insurer, what coverage you have now, and what you actually need. We ask about your driving record, your vehicles, and any claims or tickets. This takes about 10 minutes.
Then we shop. We run your information through our network of 40+ carriers, including the ones you know like USAA insurance and Direct Auto, plus regional companies that often beat their rates. We’re looking for the best combination of price and coverage, not just the cheapest car insurance that leaves gaps.
Finally, we explain what we found. You’ll see quotes side by side with coverage breakdowns in plain language. We point out where one policy covers more, where another saves money, and what the tradeoffs actually mean. Once you pick, we handle the paperwork and cancel your old policy for free.
Ready to get started?
Arizona requires 25/50/15 liability coverage as a minimum, but that’s rarely enough if you cause a serious accident. Most Goodyear drivers need at least 100/300/100 to avoid paying out of pocket. We also recommend uninsured motorist coverage since Arizona has one of the higher rates of uninsured drivers on the road.
Comprehensive and collision matter here too. Goodyear summers hit 110+ degrees, which cracks dashboards, fades paint, and kills batteries. Monsoon season brings flash floods and hail. If your policy doesn’t cover weather damage or theft, you’re paying for repairs yourself.
We also look at your deductible, rental car coverage, and roadside assistance. Some companies like AAA insurance bundle extras that others charge for separately. Direct auto insurance companies might offer lower premiums but fewer perks. We break it all down so you know exactly what you’re getting before you sign.
You’ll also see how your credit score, your ZIP code, and your car’s age affect pricing. In Arizona, insurers can use your credit to set rates, which means drivers with poor credit can pay 80% more than someone with excellent credit for the same coverage.
Rates are climbing across Arizona right now. The average annual increase nationwide is 8.4%, but Arizona drivers are seeing even steeper hikes due to more accidents, auto part shortages, labor costs, and a surge in vehicle thefts.
Even if your driving record is spotless, your insurer is adjusting rates based on what’s happening across their entire customer base. If claims are up in your area or your ZIP code sees more thefts, everyone in that zone pays more. Some companies also raise rates when you hit certain age brackets or when your credit score drops.
This is exactly why comparing quotes matters. One company might raise your rate 20% while another keeps you flat or even lowers it. When you’re locked into one carrier like Progressive insurance or GEICO car insurance, you don’t see what else is out there. An independent agent shows you what 40+ companies would charge for the same coverage right now.
When you call GEICO, Progressive, or USAA directly, you only get their rates. If they’re expensive or don’t want to insure you, you start over with the next company. That’s three or four phone calls to get three or four quotes.
An independent agent runs your information through dozens of carriers at once. You get quotes from GEICO car insurance, Progressive insurance, Direct Auto, AAA insurance, and 35+ others in one conversation. We’re comparing coverage levels, discounts, and pricing so you don’t have to.
You also get ongoing support. If GEICO raises your rate next year, you call them and start over. If we place you with a carrier and they raise your rate, you call us and we reshop it immediately. We’re not loyal to any one company. We’re loyal to getting you the best deal every time your policy renews.
Nothing. You don’t pay us. The insurance company pays us a commission when you buy a policy, and that commission is already built into the rate whether you go direct or use an agent.
That means the price you’d pay for USAA car insurance through us is the same price you’d pay calling USAA yourself. Same with Progressive insurance company, Direct Auto insurance, or any other carrier. The difference is you get professional help comparing options, reviewing coverage, and managing your policy over time at no extra cost.
We also handle things like canceling your old policy, filing claims, and updating your coverage when you buy a new car or move. That’s all included. You’re paying for insurance either way. You might as well get an agent who actually answers the phone.
Yes, but it takes some work. The cheapest car insurance is usually bare minimum liability, which leaves you exposed if you cause an accident or your car gets totaled. That’s not a deal. That’s a gamble.
The smarter move is comparing quotes across multiple companies while keeping your coverage consistent. A policy that costs $180/month with Progressive might cost $120/month with another carrier for the exact same limits. Goodyear drivers save an average of $3,059 per year just by shopping around.
You can also lower your rate by bundling your auto and home insurance, raising your deductible slightly, or asking about discounts for safe driving, low mileage, or paying in full. Some companies offer better rates for certain professions or memberships. We find those discounts for you instead of making you hunt for them on every company’s website.
First, don’t panic. Getting dropped after a claim is more common than it should be, especially if the company suspects fraud or if you’ve filed multiple claims in a short window. Arizona law says they can’t raise your rate for an accident that wasn’t your fault, but they can still choose not to renew your policy.
You’ll need to find new coverage fast since driving without insurance in Arizona is illegal and comes with serious penalties. An independent agent can place you with a carrier that specializes in drivers who’ve been dropped or who have claims history. These companies exist, and they’re not all high-risk or wildly expensive.
We’ll also review what happened with your old policy. Sometimes claims get mishandled or coded wrong, and that affects how future insurers see you. If your record is being misrepresented, we can help you dispute it. Either way, we’ll get you covered quickly and work on lowering your rate once you’ve rebuilt some claim-free history.
We work with over 40 insurance carriers, including many of the big names you’ve heard of and plenty of regional companies that often beat their rates. Some companies like USAA only sell directly to military members and their families, so we can’t quote them. But we represent plenty of others that compete with or outperform USAA car insurance on price and coverage.
We do work with companies like Progressive, AAA, Direct Auto, and many others that advertise heavily. We also represent carriers that don’t spend millions on TV ads but offer excellent coverage and claims service. Those companies often have lower rates because they’re not paying for commercials every 10 minutes.
The goal isn’t to steer you toward one brand. It’s to show you what’s available across the market and let you decide based on real numbers and real coverage. If Progressive insurance ends up being your best option, great. If a company you’ve never heard of saves you $1,200 a year with better coverage, even better.
