When a dust storm damages your property or a customer files a lawsuit, you’re not scrambling to figure out if you’re covered. You’re not draining your savings or shutting down operations while you sort through the mess. You’re making a phone call to someone local who picks up, knows your policy, and handles it.
That’s what happens when your commercial insurance is built for Arizona businesses instead of copied from a national template. Workers compensation insurance covers your team when workplace injuries happen—and with 79,500 non-fatal injuries reported across Arizona in 2022, it’s not a question of if, but when. Commercial auto insurance protects your vehicles and drivers without the runaround. Business liability insurance keeps you operational when someone gets hurt on your property or claims your work caused damage.
You’re not paying for coverage you don’t need or discovering gaps when it’s too late. You’re running your business with the confidence that comes from knowing the risks are handled.
We’re a family-owned independent agency serving businesses across Arizona, including right here in Citrus Park, AZ. We’re not a call center. We’re not selling one carrier’s products because that’s all we’re allowed to offer. We represent over 100 insurance carriers, which means we work for you, not them.
Our agents are local, licensed, and available when you need them. We’ve earned 930+ five-star Google reviews and recognition as Agents of the Year 2023 because we show up, answer the phone, and treat your business like it matters. Citrus Park’s business owners—whether you’re running a retail shop, managing commercial vehicles, or operating in agriculture—need someone who understands the local risks and has access to the right coverage. That’s what we do.
You start with a conversation. Tell us what your business does, what risks keep you up at night, and what coverage you currently have—or think you need. We ask questions that matter, not just what’s on a form. What vehicles does your business operate? Do you have employees? Are you required to carry professional liability insurance or errors and omissions insurance for your contracts?
From there, we pull quotes from our network of over 100 carriers. You’re not stuck with one option or one price. We compare general liability, commercial property insurance, trade insurance, and whatever else your business requires. We explain what each policy actually covers, what it costs, and where the gaps are if you’re underinsured.
Once you choose, we handle the paperwork, cancel your old policy at no cost if you’re switching, and make sure everything is active before your current coverage ends. When your business changes—new equipment, more employees, additional vehicles—we adjust your coverage. You’re not figuring this out alone or hoping you got it right.
Ready to get started?
Arizona isn’t like other states, and Citrus Park businesses face risks that don’t exist in milder climates. Wildfires, monsoons, extreme heat, and dust storms aren’t rare events—they’re part of doing business here. Your commercial property insurance needs to account for that, or you’re paying for a policy that won’t cover the damage when it happens.
If you have employees, workers compensation insurance isn’t optional—it’s legally required in Arizona for any business with at least one employee. If you operate vehicles for your business, commercial vehicle insurance is mandatory, and it needs to cover more than just accidents. What happens when your truck breaks down in 115-degree heat with a load of product inside?
Business liability insurance protects you when someone gets injured on your property or claims your work caused damage. In Maricopa County, construction-injury lawsuits have resulted in verdicts over $5 million. Even if you’re not in construction, the risk is real. Professional liability insurance and e&o insurance cover you when a client claims your advice, service, or work caused them financial harm. Many contracts won’t even let you start work without proof of $1 million in coverage.
We make sure your insurance for small businesses actually fits your operations, your contracts, and the risks you face in Citrus Park, AZ. You’re not buying a generic package and hoping it works.
It depends on what your business does and how you operate. If you have employees, workers compensation insurance is legally required in Arizona—no exceptions. If your business owns or leases vehicles, you need commercial auto insurance. That’s not optional either.
Beyond the legal requirements, most businesses need general liability insurance. If a customer slips in your store, a contractor gets hurt on your job site, or someone claims your work damaged their property, general liability covers the lawsuit and the settlement. If you rent or lease your space, your landlord probably requires proof of at least $1 million in coverage before you can move in.
If your business gives advice, provides professional services, or handles sensitive client information, you likely need professional liability insurance or errors and omissions insurance. If you own the building, equipment, or inventory, commercial property insurance protects it from fire, theft, and weather damage. Arizona’s extreme conditions—wildfires, monsoons, heat—mean your property faces more risk than businesses in other states. We walk through your operations and contracts to figure out exactly what you need, not what sounds good in a brochure.
There’s no single answer because cost depends on your industry, your revenue, how many employees you have, what equipment you own, and what risks you’re covering. That said, general liability insurance in Arizona averages around $42 per month for small businesses. Workers compensation insurance runs about $46 per month on average. Professional liability or e&o insurance typically costs around $71 per month.
Those are averages. If you operate commercial vehicles, work in construction, or have higher-risk operations, your costs will be higher. If you’re a low-risk service business working from home, you might pay less. The bigger factor is whether you’re getting the right coverage or just the cheapest policy. Cheap coverage that doesn’t pay out when you file a claim isn’t a bargain—it’s a liability.
We pull quotes from over 100 carriers, so you’re seeing competitive pricing across the market. You’re not locked into one company’s rates or one agent’s limited options. And because we’re an independent agency, our service costs you nothing. We get paid by the carrier you choose, not by marking up your premium.
A business owner’s policy, or BOP, bundles general liability insurance and commercial property insurance into one package. It’s designed for small to mid-sized businesses that need both types of coverage and want a simpler, often cheaper option than buying each policy separately.
If you own or lease a physical location, have equipment or inventory, and need liability protection, a BOP usually makes sense. It covers property damage from fires, storms, or theft, plus liability if someone gets hurt or sues your business. The downside is that it’s a package—you can’t customize every detail. If your business has unique risks or operates in a high-liability industry, you might need separate policies with higher limits or specialized coverage.
For example, a BOP won’t cover your commercial vehicles, your employees’ injuries, or claims related to professional errors. You’d still need commercial auto insurance, workers comp, and professional liability separately. We help you figure out whether a BOP fits your situation or whether separate policies give you better protection. It’s not about selling you more—it’s about making sure the coverage actually works when you need it.
It depends on your policy and what type of damage happens. Standard commercial property insurance typically covers wind damage, fire, and some storm-related losses. But Arizona’s risks—wildfires, flash flooding, dust storms, extreme heat—don’t always fall under standard coverage.
Flood damage usually requires separate flood insurance. If a monsoon causes water to rise and flood your building, your standard policy probably won’t cover it. Wildfire coverage is often included in property policies, but you need to confirm your limits and whether your location falls into a high-risk zone that carriers exclude or charge more to cover. Dust storms can cause vehicle damage, broken windows, and equipment failure, but whether that’s covered depends on how the damage is classified.
Heat-related damage—like equipment failure, inventory spoilage, or vehicle breakdowns—can be tricky. If your HVAC system fails during a heatwave and your inventory is ruined, some policies cover it as equipment breakdown, but others don’t. We go through your policy to identify gaps and make sure you’re not assuming you’re covered for risks that aren’t actually included. Arizona businesses can’t afford to guess when it comes to weather-related claims.
Yes. You’re not stuck with a policy that’s too expensive, doesn’t cover what you need, or comes from a company that’s difficult to work with. Most commercial insurance policies run for one year, and you can cancel or switch at renewal without penalty. If you’re mid-term and want to switch early, you can usually do that too, though some carriers charge a small cancellation fee.
The key is making sure there’s no gap in coverage. If you cancel your old policy before your new one is active, you’re uninsured—and if something happens during that gap, you’re paying out of pocket. We handle the timing and the paperwork to make sure your new coverage starts the same day your old policy ends.
We also offer free policy cancellation service. If you’re switching to one of our carriers, we contact your old insurer and handle the cancellation for you. You’re not spending your time on hold or filling out forms. If your current policy isn’t protecting your business the way it should, switching isn’t just possible—it’s often the smartest move you can make. We make it easy.
Because an independent agency works for you, not for one insurance company. When you go direct to a carrier, you’re only seeing their products, their prices, and their coverage options. If their policy doesn’t fit your business or their rates go up, you’re starting over with a new company and a new agent who doesn’t know your history.
We represent over 100 insurance carriers. That means we can compare coverage and pricing across the market and find the best fit for your business. If one carrier raises your rates or drops your coverage, we move you to another one without you having to rebuild the relationship or re-explain your business. You’re working with the same local agent, just with access to more options.
You’re also getting advice that’s not biased toward one company’s products. If a carrier we represent isn’t the right fit, we’ll tell you. If you’re overpaying or underinsured, we’ll show you why and what to do about it. And because we’re local to Citrus Park, AZ, and family-owned, you’re talking to real people who pick up the phone and know your name. That’s not something you get from a call center or an online form.
