You stop paying inflated rates to a company that doesn’t return your calls. That’s the first thing that changes.
The second is access. When you work with an independent agency that represents over 100 insurance carriers, you’re not stuck with one option and whatever rate they decide to charge this year. You get competitive quotes on workers compensation insurance, commercial auto insurance, general liability, professional liability, and commercial property coverage—all from carriers actively writing policies in Arizona.
The third is someone picking up the phone. Not a call center in another state. Not an automated system that routes you in circles. A real person in Arizona who knows what’s happening in Tucson’s commercial insurance market and can explain why your rates went up, what your options are, and how to get coverage that actually protects your business.
If your current carrier just hit you with a 50% increase or dropped your policy entirely, you’re not imagining it. Arizona’s insurance market has seen some of the steepest rate increases in the country over the past few years. But that doesn’t mean you’re out of options.
We’re a family-owned independent agency based in Arizona. We’ve been helping businesses across the state—including Tucson—find coverage that actually works for them, not just what one carrier decides to offer.
We represent over 100 insurance carriers. That means when you call, we’re comparing options across the market to find you the best combination of coverage and price. We’re not selling you one company’s product. We’re finding what fits.
Our team has earned over 930 five-star Google reviews, been recognized as Agents of the Year in 2023, and named Three Best Rated Insurance Agents in Mesa. We have physical offices in Mesa and Peoria, and we serve the entire state of Arizona. When you call, a real person answers. When you need help with a claim or a policy change, you talk to someone who knows your account.
You reach out—by phone, email, or through our website. We ask about your business, what you do, how many employees you have, what vehicles you use, and what your current coverage looks like.
Then we shop your policy across our network of over 100 carriers. We’re looking at commercial auto insurance if you have vehicles. Workers compensation insurance if you have employees—which Arizona requires for any business with at least one employee. General liability to cover property damage or injuries. Professional liability or errors and omissions insurance if you provide services or advice. Commercial property insurance if you own or lease a building.
We send you quotes that make sense for your business and your budget. You review them, ask questions, and decide what works. If you choose to move forward, we handle the paperwork and cancel your old policy at no cost to you.
Once you’re covered, we stay in touch. If your business changes, your coverage can change with it. If you have a claim, we’re there to help you through it. If your rate goes up at renewal, we shop it again.

Most Tucson businesses need some combination of these coverages, depending on what you do and how you operate.
General liability insurance covers third-party injuries and property damage. If a client trips in your office or you accidentally damage someone’s property while working, this is what responds. Professional liability insurance—also called errors and omissions insurance or E&O insurance—covers claims that you made a mistake, gave bad advice, or failed to deliver what you promised. This is critical for consultants, contractors, and anyone providing professional services.
Workers compensation insurance is required by Arizona law if you have employees. It covers medical bills and lost wages if someone gets hurt on the job. Commercial auto insurance covers vehicles you use for business—whether that’s a delivery van, a truck for your trade business, or a fleet of company cars. Commercial property insurance protects your building, equipment, inventory, and furniture if there’s a fire, theft, or storm damage.
Tucson businesses face specific risks. Summer monsoons can cause flash flooding and wind damage. Wildfire smoke impacts air quality and operations. The heat puts extra strain on vehicles and equipment. Your policy should reflect the risks you actually face, not a generic template from a national carrier that doesn’t know Arizona.
Arizona requires workers compensation insurance for any business that regularly employs at least one person, whether full-time or part-time. There are very few exceptions to this rule.
If you use vehicles for business purposes—deliveries, job sites, client meetings—you also need commercial auto insurance that meets Arizona’s minimum liability requirements. Personal auto policies typically exclude coverage when you’re using a vehicle for business, so this isn’t optional if you’re driving for work.
Beyond legal requirements, most commercial leases require general liability insurance, and many clients or contracts require proof of liability coverage before they’ll work with you. If you’re a licensed professional—contractor, consultant, accountant, real estate agent—you may also need professional liability insurance to maintain your license or meet industry standards.
Arizona has seen some of the highest insurance rate increases in the country over the past few years. Home insurance rates jumped over 60% in five years, and commercial insurance has followed a similar trend.
Carriers have pulled back on who they’re willing to insure and where they’re willing to write policies. Catastrophic losses from wildfires, hurricanes, and other disasters have forced insurers to narrow their focus and raise rates to stay profitable. If your business has had claims, operates in a high-risk industry, or is located in an area with increased wildfire or flood risk, you’re more likely to see steep increases or non-renewals.
The good news is that not all carriers are raising rates at the same pace. Some are still competitive in Arizona, and some specialize in industries or risk profiles that others won’t touch. That’s why working with an independent agent who can compare 100+ carriers makes a difference. One carrier might double your rate while another keeps you flat or even lowers it.
General liability insurance covers bodily injury and property damage that you cause to someone else. If a customer slips and falls in your office, or you accidentally break a client’s window while working on a job, general liability responds.
Professional liability insurance—also called errors and omissions insurance—covers financial losses that result from your work, advice, or failure to deliver what you promised. If a client sues you for giving bad advice, missing a deadline, or making an error that cost them money, professional liability covers your legal defense and any settlement or judgment.
General liability is about physical harm or damage. Professional liability is about financial harm from your professional services. Most service-based businesses need both. If you’re a contractor, you need general liability for job site accidents and professional liability for design errors or project delays. If you’re a consultant, you need professional liability for your advice and general liability for your office space.
It depends entirely on what you do, how many employees you have, what your revenue is, and what coverage you need.
A small office-based business with no employees might pay $500 to $1,500 per year for a basic general liability policy. Add workers compensation insurance, and you’re looking at rates that vary by industry—office work might cost $0.50 per $100 of payroll, while construction could be $10 or more per $100 of payroll.
Commercial auto insurance depends on the type of vehicle, how it’s used, and your drivers’ records. A single work truck might cost $1,200 to $3,000 per year. Professional liability insurance for a consultant might run $800 to $2,500 annually, depending on your revenue and claims history.
The only way to get an accurate number is to get quotes based on your specific business. That’s why we compare over 100 carriers—rates vary wildly, and the cheapest option isn’t always the best coverage.
Yes. Being dropped doesn’t mean you’re uninsurable. It means that particular carrier decided they didn’t want to cover your risk profile anymore.
Carriers are pulling out of certain industries, certain locations, and certain risk categories across Arizona. It’s not always about claims. Sometimes it’s about their overall book of business or their reinsurance costs. Sometimes it’s about wildfire exposure or credit score or how long you’ve been in business.
When you work with an independent agent who represents 100+ carriers, you’re not limited to one company’s underwriting appetite. Some carriers specialize in businesses that have had claims. Some focus on high-risk industries. Some are more flexible on credit or experience.
We’ve placed coverage for businesses that were dropped, businesses with claims history, and businesses that couldn’t get quotes anywhere else. It’s not always cheap, but it’s coverage, and once you’re back in the market with a clean track record, your rates improve.
Your landlord’s insurance covers the building structure, but it doesn’t cover anything you own inside that building.
If there’s a fire, flood, or break-in, your equipment, inventory, furniture, computers, tools, and supplies aren’t covered by the landlord’s policy. You need your own commercial property insurance to replace those items.
Most commercial leases also require tenants to carry liability insurance, and many require you to add the landlord as an additional insured on your policy. If you cause damage to the building—say, a grease fire in your restaurant kitchen or a plumbing leak from your office—your liability policy covers the repairs.
Even if your lease doesn’t require it, commercial property insurance is worth having if you’d struggle to replace your business assets out of pocket. A fire or theft could wipe out everything you’ve invested in your business, and without coverage, you’re starting over from zero.
