You’ve probably noticed your insurance bill creeping up every year. Maybe you filed a claim and suddenly your rates jumped 50%. Or you’re realizing your policy doesn’t actually cover flood damage from monsoon season—and you live near the Gila River.
That’s not unusual in Arizona right now. Home insurance rates jumped 11.4% in 2024 alone. Some carriers like State Farm stopped writing new policies entirely. Others are dropping customers in high-risk areas without much warning.
What you need is someone who can actually shop your coverage across multiple insurance companies—Progressive, GEICO, AAA, USAA, Direct Auto, and dozens more—so you’re not stuck with one carrier’s rate hikes or coverage gaps. You need options. And you need someone local who picks up the phone when you call.
That’s what we do. We compare rates and coverage from over 100 insurance companies, find what actually fits your situation, and handle the switch if you decide to move. No extra cost for our time. No pressure. Just straight answers about what you’re paying and what you’re getting.
We’re a family-owned independent insurance agency based in Mesa, serving Komatke and the entire Phoenix metro. We’ve been doing this long enough to know what Arizona homeowners and drivers are dealing with—wildfire exposure, flash flood risk, monsoon damage, and insurance companies that don’t return calls.
We’re not tied to one carrier. That means we work for you, not them. We’ve built relationships with over 100 insurance companies so we can shop your coverage the way you’d shop for anything else—by comparing options and finding the best fit.
We’ve earned over 930 five-star Google reviews, been named Agents of the Year in 2023, and recognized as Three Best Rated Insurance Agents in Mesa. That matters because it means people trust us to do what we say we’ll do. But what matters more is that we’re here when you need us—in person, on the phone, actually available.
First, we talk. You tell us what you’re paying now, what coverage you have, and what’s frustrating you about your current insurance company. Takes about 10 minutes. We ask questions most agents skip—like whether you’ve had claims, what your home is made of, how close you are to flood zones.
Then we shop. We run your information through our network of 100+ carriers—including the big names like Progressive Insurance, GEICO car insurance, USAA insurance, AAA insurance, and Direct Auto insurance, plus regional carriers you’ve probably never heard of. We’re looking for better rates, better coverage, or both.
Finally, we show you what we found. No jargon. No pressure. Just a clear comparison of what you’re paying now versus what you could be paying, and what’s actually covered. If you want to switch, we handle the cancellation of your old policy and get your new one started. If you don’t, that’s fine too. You’re not charged for our time either way.
The whole process usually wraps up in a day or two. You’ll know exactly where you stand and what your options are. That’s the point.
Ready to get started?
Komatke sits near the Gila River, which means flood risk is real. Standard homeowners insurance doesn’t cover flooding. You need a separate flood policy, and most people don’t realize that until water’s already in the house. We make sure that gap doesn’t exist.
Arizona’s wildfire season runs late April through July—about 13 weeks of elevated risk. Wildfires are getting worse here, and some insurance companies are pulling out of high-risk areas entirely. We work with carriers who still write coverage in Arizona and understand the actual risk profile, not just the headlines.
Monsoon storms bring hail, high winds, and flash flooding. Your auto insurance should cover hail damage without a deductible that wipes out the repair value. Your home insurance should cover wind damage and roof replacement if a microburst takes shingles off. We check for those specifics, not just whether you have “full coverage.”
We also compare cheap car insurance options that don’t sacrifice liability limits. Arizona minimums are $25,000 per person for injury—that’s not enough if you cause a serious accident. We’ll show you what it costs to bump that up to $100,000 or $250,000, because the difference is usually smaller than you think and the protection is significantly better.
Calling Progressive, GEICO, USAA, or AAA directly means you only get their rates. If they’re high, you’re stuck. If they don’t cover something you need, you start over with the next company.
An independent agent shops all of them at once. We compare Progressive insurance, GEICO car insurance, Direct Auto insurance, USAA car insurance, AAA insurance, and 95+ other carriers in one conversation. You see the best rate and the best coverage side by side, without making 10 phone calls.
It doesn’t cost you extra. Insurance companies pay us the same commission whether you buy direct or through us. The difference is we work for you, not them. If your rate goes up next year, we can shop it again. If you have a claim issue, we help you deal with the carrier. You get an advocate, not a sales rep.
The average cost of car insurance in Arizona has jumped 39% between 2021 and 2026—from $1,535 to $2,135 annually. That’s the average. Your actual rate depends on your driving record, the car you drive, your coverage limits, and which insurance company you choose.
GEICO car insurance might quote you $180 a month. Progressive insurance might come back at $140. USAA car insurance (if you’re military or family) could be $120. Direct Auto insurance might be cheaper but with higher deductibles. You won’t know until someone actually shops it.
In Komatke specifically, your ZIP code matters. Proximity to Phoenix affects theft and accident rates, which affects pricing. Flood risk near the Gila River can bump up comprehensive coverage costs. We factor all of that in when we’re comparing rates, so you’re not surprised later.
Cheap car insurance usually means state minimum coverage—$25,000 per person for injuries, $50,000 per accident, $15,000 for property damage. That’s not enough if you hit someone and they’re seriously hurt. You’ll be personally liable for the rest, which can mean wage garnishment or losing assets.
Good car insurance means higher liability limits—$100,000/$300,000/$100,000 or better—plus comprehensive and collision coverage with a reasonable deductible. It also means the insurance company actually pays claims without a fight and has customer service that picks up the phone.
The cost difference between minimum coverage and solid coverage is often $30 to $50 a month. That’s real money, but it’s also the difference between financial protection and financial disaster. We show you both options so you can decide what makes sense for your situation. Some people need cheap car insurance right now and can upgrade later. Others can afford better coverage and should have it. We just make sure you know what you’re choosing.
No. Standard homeowners insurance does not cover flood damage, period. That includes water coming in from monsoon storms, Gila River overflow, or flash flooding. You need a separate flood insurance policy, which is usually issued through the National Flood Insurance Program.
Komatke’s location near the Gila River puts it in a higher-risk flood zone. That doesn’t mean you’ll definitely flood, but it does mean the risk is real enough that you should have coverage. Flood insurance costs vary based on your elevation and distance from the river, but it’s typically between $400 and $1,200 a year for decent coverage.
We help you figure out if you actually need it and, if so, how much coverage makes sense. Some people only need $50,000 in building coverage because their home is elevated and newer. Others need $150,000 or more because they’re in a low-lying area with an older foundation. We look at your specific property and give you a real answer, not a generic one.
Arizona home insurance rates jumped 11.4% in 2024, and some homeowners saw increases of 50% to 100%. That’s happening because of wildfire risk, increased construction costs, and insurance companies pulling out of the state. State Farm stopped writing new homeowners policies in Arizona entirely. Nationwide dropped policies in high-risk wildfire areas.
Car insurance rates are up 39% nationally since 2021 because of higher repair costs, more expensive medical claims, and increased vehicle theft. Arizona specifically has seen a spike in uninsured drivers, which pushes up uninsured motorist coverage costs for everyone else.
The result is that staying with the same insurance company year after year is costing you more than it should. Loyalty doesn’t get rewarded anymore—it gets penalized. Shopping your coverage every year or two is the only way to keep your rate in check. That’s why people use us. We do the shopping so you don’t have to track down quotes from Progressive insurance, GEICO, AAA, USAA, and everyone else on your own.
You can switch anytime. You’re not locked in. If you cancel mid-term, your current insurance company refunds the unused portion of your premium. So if you paid $1,200 for the year and cancel after six months, you get roughly $600 back.
We handle the cancellation for you. You don’t have to call your old company or deal with the paperwork. We submit the cancellation request, confirm the refund amount, and make sure there’s no gap in coverage. Your new policy starts the same day your old one ends.
The only thing to watch for is cancellation fees, which are rare but do exist with some carriers. We check that before you switch. If there’s a fee, we factor it into the comparison so you know your actual savings. Most of the time, switching saves you enough that even a small fee doesn’t matter. But if it’s close, we’ll tell you to wait until renewal. We’re not here to switch you just to switch you—we’re here to save you money or get you better coverage when it actually makes sense.
