You didn’t plan on spending this week hunting for insurance. You’ve got payroll to make, contracts to fulfill, and customers who need you focused. But here you are—dealing with a cancellation notice or a rate that doubled overnight.
Here’s what happens when you work with an independent agency that represents over 100 carriers instead of just one. You get options. Real ones. Not a single take-it-or-leave-it quote, but multiple proposals from A-rated carriers who actually want your business.
That means we can match your coverage to what you actually do, not force you into a box that doesn’t fit. Whether you need general liability, workers compensation insurance, commercial auto insurance, or a combination that covers your specific trade, we’ll find it. And when your business changes—new equipment, another vehicle, a bigger crew—you’ve got someone local who picks up the phone and adjusts your policy without the runaround.
We’re a family-owned independent agency based in Arizona. We’ve built our reputation on 930+ five-star Google reviews because we show up when it matters—with real people in our Mesa and Peoria offices who actually answer the phone.
Arlington businesses don’t have a lot of local options. That’s exactly why having an independent agent matters. We’re not tied to one company’s rates or rules. We represent over 100 insurance carriers, which means we can shop your coverage across the market and find what works for your budget and your risk.
We’ve been named Agents of the Year and recognized as Three Best Rated Insurance Agents in Mesa. But what matters more than awards is this: when you call, you’ll talk to someone who knows Arizona business risks—monsoons, heat damage, wildfire smoke, dust storms—and how to protect against them without overpaying.
First, we talk. Not a sales pitch—a real conversation about what your business does, what you’re currently paying, and what gaps might exist in your coverage. If you’ve been canceled or hit with a big increase, we’ll ask why. That context matters when we’re shopping your policy.
Next, we quote. We’ll pull proposals from multiple carriers who specialize in your industry. You’ll see the coverage details side by side, along with the premium. We’ll explain what you’re actually buying—not in insurance jargon, but in plain terms. If you need a business owners policy, commercial vehicle insurance, or professional liability insurance like errors and omissions coverage, we’ll show you what each one does and why it matters for your situation.
Then we bind your coverage and get you a certificate of insurance the same day if you need it. Most contractors, landlords, and clients won’t let you start work without proof of insurance. We know that. So we move fast. Once you’re covered, we don’t disappear. When you add a vehicle, hire someone new, or take on a bigger contract, you’ll have a local agent who can adjust your policy and answer your questions without transferring you to three departments.
Ready to get started?
If you’re a licensed contractor in Arizona—electrician, HVAC, general contractor, sign installer—you’re required to carry general liability insurance. If you have employees, workers compensation insurance isn’t optional. It’s state law. Those are the baseline requirements, but they’re not the full picture.
Commercial auto insurance covers your work trucks and vans. If you’re driving to job sites, making deliveries, or hauling equipment, your personal auto policy won’t cover a business-use accident. You need commercial vehicle insurance that protects both the vehicle and your liability if something goes wrong on the road.
Professional liability insurance, also called errors and omissions insurance or E&O insurance, covers you if a client claims your work or advice caused them financial harm. That’s critical for consultants, designers, IT professionals, and anyone who provides specialized services. Trade insurance often bundles general liability with tools and equipment coverage, which matters if you’ve got $20,000 worth of gear in your truck.
Commercial property insurance protects your building, inventory, and equipment from fire, theft, or storm damage. Arizona sees severe weather—flooding, wildfires, monsoons, dust storms. If your business operates out of a physical location in or near Arlington, you need coverage that reflects those risks. And if you handle any customer data, cyber liability isn’t optional anymore. Cyberattacks on small businesses surged 300% during remote work, and nearly half of all attacks target small to mid-sized companies.
You’re not imagining it. Rates have climbed across Arizona, and it’s not because of anything you did wrong. Major carriers like Aetna have pulled out of 17 states, including Arizona. When fewer companies compete for business, prices go up.
On top of that, Arizona has seen 16 drought events, 14 wildfires, and 3 major floods in the last decade. Insurers are paying out more in claims, and they’re passing that cost onto policyholders. If your business is in a high-risk zone or your industry has seen a spike in claims—like cyber liability or commercial auto—you’re going to feel it in your premium.
The good news is that not every carrier is raising rates at the same pace. That’s where we help. We can shop your policy across 100+ carriers and find one that’s pricing your risk more competitively. Sometimes switching carriers saves you 20% or more for the same coverage.
A Business Owner’s Policy, or BOP, bundles general liability and commercial property insurance into one package. It’s designed for small businesses that don’t have complicated risks. If you run a retail shop, office, or small service business, a BOP usually costs less than buying each policy separately.
But here’s the catch: a BOP doesn’t include everything. It won’t cover your commercial vehicles, your employees (that’s workers comp), or your professional liability. So if you’re a contractor with trucks and a crew, you’ll need more than a BOP.
The benefit of working with us is that we’ll tell you when a BOP makes sense and when it doesn’t. We’re not trying to upsell you on coverage you don’t need, but we’re also not going to let you walk around underinsured because it saves a few bucks. We’ll build a package that actually matches your operations—whether that’s a BOP plus commercial auto, or a standalone general liability policy with higher limits because you’re working on commercial job sites.
Same day, usually within a few hours. We know you’re not asking for a certificate because you’re bored. You’re asking because a client, contractor, or landlord needs proof of coverage before you can start work or sign a lease.
Once your policy is active, we can generate and send a certificate of insurance immediately. If you need us to list someone as an additional insured—which is common on construction contracts—we can add that endorsement and update the certificate right away.
Some agencies take 24 to 48 hours to process certificate requests. We don’t. We’ve built our systems to move at the speed your business actually operates. If you call us in the morning and need a certificate by noon, we’ll make it happen. That’s part of being a local agency with real people in the office—not a call center three states away reading from a script.
Yes. Arizona law requires workers compensation insurance if you have even one employee. It doesn’t matter if they’re part-time, seasonal, or family. If they’re on your payroll, you need coverage.
Here’s why that law exists: if an employee gets hurt on the job and you don’t have workers comp, you’re personally liable for their medical bills, lost wages, and any legal fees if they sue. A back injury or a fall from a ladder can easily cost $50,000 or more. Without coverage, that comes out of your pocket—and it can shut down your business.
Workers comp also protects you from lawsuits. In Arizona, if you carry a valid workers comp policy, your employee generally can’t sue you for a workplace injury. They file a claim with your insurer, and the policy pays for their treatment and lost wages. That’s a much better outcome than a lawsuit. The cost of workers comp varies by industry—higher risk jobs like roofing or electrical work cost more than office work—but the average in Arizona is around $46 per month. That’s a small price compared to the financial risk of going without it.
You call us first. Not the carrier’s 1-800 number—us. We’ll walk you through what information the insurance company needs, how to document the damage or incident, and what to expect during the claims process.
Then we’ll contact the carrier on your behalf and open the claim. Depending on the type of claim—property damage, liability, auto, workers comp—the insurer will assign an adjuster. That adjuster will investigate, review your policy, and determine what’s covered. We stay involved throughout the process to make sure the claim moves forward and you’re not getting stuck in limbo.
Here’s the part that matters: when you work with us, you’ve got someone in your corner who knows your policy and can push back if the carrier denies something that should be covered. We’ve seen claims get denied because of paperwork errors, missed deadlines, or misunderstandings about coverage. We help you avoid those problems. And if you’re unhappy with how a carrier handles your claim, we’ve got 100+ other options when it’s time to renew. That’s leverage you don’t have if you bought directly from a single company.
Absolutely. In fact, you should get it before you take on your first client or sign your first contract. Most clients and landlords won’t work with you without proof of insurance, and if something goes wrong before you’re covered, you’re personally liable.
New businesses sometimes struggle to find affordable coverage because they don’t have a claims history or revenue track record. But we work with carriers who specialize in startups and small businesses. We can often find coverage even if you’ve been turned down elsewhere.
The key is being honest about what your business does and what risks you face. If you’re working from home and doing consulting, your needs are different than if you’re running a landscaping crew or operating a food truck. We’ll ask questions about your revenue, your operations, how many people you employ, and what kind of contracts you’re taking on. Then we’ll match you with a carrier that underwrites businesses like yours. You’ll get a quote that reflects your actual risk—not some inflated rate because the carrier doesn’t understand your industry.
