Your rate just jumped 40% after a claim that wasn’t your fault. Or your insurer dropped you entirely after 15 years of loyalty. Now you’re stuck calling around, repeating your information to five different companies, wondering if you’re even getting a fair deal.
Here’s what changes when you work with an independent agency. You make one call. We pull quotes from over 40 top-rated carriers including Progressive, Geico, USAA, AAA, State Farm, and Direct Auto. You see real numbers side-by-side, with someone who can actually explain what you’re looking at.
No offshore call centers. No waiting three days for an email response. Just a local office in Arizona with people who pick up the phone and know how insurance works in this state. When monsoon season hits and your windshield cracks, or when construction on the I-17 causes another fender-bender, you’ll have someone who understands what you’re dealing with.
We’ve been helping Arizona families since 2015. We’re family-owned, locally based, and we’ve built our reputation on over 930 five-star Google reviews because we do what we say we’re going to do.
We’re not tied to one insurance company. That means when Geico raises your rate or Progressive drops your policy, we’re not scrambling to justify it. We’re finding you a better option from one of the 40+ carriers we represent.
Anthem drivers deal with specific challenges. The commute down to Phoenix. The hail damage from summer storms. The reality that your “full coverage” might not actually cover your $1,400 windshield replacement. We’ve seen it all, and we know which carriers handle Arizona claims fairly and which ones don’t.
First, you call us or fill out a quote request. We’ll ask about your current coverage, your vehicles, your driving history, and what happened with your last insurer. This takes about 10 minutes, and you only do it once.
Then we go to work. We pull quotes from multiple carriers that make sense for your situation. If you’ve had a claim, we know which companies won’t penalize you. If you’ve got a teen driver, we know who offers the best rates. If you need SR-22 filing, we handle that too.
Finally, we walk you through your options. Not just the price, but what you’re actually getting. The difference between $100,000 in liability coverage and $250,000. Why comprehensive matters in Arizona. What happens if you’re hit by someone without insurance, which is more common here than you’d think.
Once you choose a policy, we handle the paperwork and cancel your old coverage. When something changes—you buy a new car, your kid gets their license, you move—you call us and we adjust your policy. No phone tree. No waiting.
Ready to get started?
You get access to carriers you’ve heard of—Progressive, Geico, USAA, AAA, State Farm, Travelers—and plenty you haven’t. Some of the best rates come from regional carriers that don’t spend millions on TV ads. We know which ones pay claims quickly and which ones fight you on every dollar.
You get someone who understands Arizona insurance law. Like the fact that insurers legally cannot raise your rate for an accident you didn’t cause. Or that minimum coverage in Arizona is $25,000 per person, which sounds like a lot until you’re sitting in a hospital with a $60,000 bill.
Anthem sits right in the path of some of the worst traffic between the northern communities and Phoenix. That I-17 corridor sees constant construction, sudden stops, and distracted drivers. Your insurance needs to reflect that reality, not some national average that doesn’t account for Arizona’s unique risks.
You also get ongoing support. When rates increase industry-wide—which they have by about 30% in the last two years—we’re already shopping your policy to see if we can do better. When your life changes, your insurance should change with it. We make that happen without you having to think about it.
When you call Progressive or Geico directly, you get one quote from one company. If their rate is high or they won’t cover you, you start over with the next company. You’re doing the same work five or six times, and you still don’t know if you’re getting the best deal.
An independent agency does that work once. We pull quotes from 40+ carriers at the same time, so you can actually compare. More importantly, we’re not trying to sell you on one specific company. If USAA has the best rate but terrible customer service for claims, we’ll tell you. If Direct Auto is cheaper but AAA offers better coverage for the same price, you’ll know that too.
The other advantage: when something goes wrong, you’re not fighting with the insurance company alone. We’re in your corner because our reputation depends on it. After 930+ five-star reviews, we’re not about to throw you under the bus to protect an insurance company’s bottom line.
Full coverage in Arizona averages around $136 per month. Minimum coverage runs about $66 monthly. But those are averages, and your rate depends on your age, your driving record, your vehicle, and how much coverage you actually need.
If you’re over 50 with a clean record, you might pay $90 a month for solid coverage. If you’re under 25 or you’ve had a recent claim, you could be looking at $200+. The problem is that rates have jumped about 30% in the last two years across the board, so what you paid in 2023 is probably not what you’re paying now.
Here’s what matters more than the average: are you getting the right coverage for your situation? Minimum coverage saves you money until you cause an accident and you’re personally liable for everything beyond $25,000. That’s not a risk worth taking if you own a home or have any assets. We’d rather find you affordable full coverage than cheap minimum coverage that leaves you exposed.
Arizona law says insurers cannot raise your rate for an accident you didn’t cause or significantly contribute to. That’s the law. In practice, some companies still try to push you into a higher rate tier or they drop you entirely when your policy renews.
If the accident was your fault, expect your rate to increase. How much depends on the severity of the accident and your insurance company’s formula. Some carriers are more forgiving than others, especially if it’s your first claim in years. This is where having an independent agent matters—we know which companies penalize you the least.
The bigger issue is non-renewal. Your insurer can choose not to renew your policy after a claim, even if you weren’t at fault. It’s legal, it’s common, and it’s infuriating. When that happens, you need options fast. We can usually place you with a new carrier within a day or two, often at a comparable or better rate than what you were paying before the claim.
Minimum coverage in Arizona is $25,000 per person for bodily injury, $50,000 per accident, and $15,000 for property damage. That sounds reasonable until you look at what things actually cost. A basic ER visit can hit $10,000. A totaled car can be $30,000. If you cause a serious accident, you could be looking at six figures in medical bills and lost wages.
If the damages exceed your coverage limits, you’re personally responsible for the rest. That means they can garnish your wages, put a lien on your house, or drain your savings. Minimum coverage protects the other person up to your limit, but it does nothing to protect you from financial ruin.
We usually recommend at least $100,000/$300,000 in liability coverage, plus comprehensive and collision if your vehicle is worth more than a few thousand dollars. The difference in premium between minimum coverage and solid full coverage is often $50-70 a month. That’s real money, but it’s a lot less than what you’d pay out of pocket after one serious accident.
Yes. An SR-22 isn’t actually insurance—it’s a form your insurance company files with the state to prove you’re carrying the required coverage. You need it after certain violations like a DUI, driving without insurance, or too many points on your license.
Not all insurance companies offer SR-22 filings, and the ones that do often charge higher rates because they know you don’t have many options. We work with multiple carriers that handle SR-22s, so we can still shop your rate and find you the best deal given your situation.
The SR-22 requirement usually lasts three years in Arizona. If your policy lapses or gets canceled during that time, your insurance company has to notify the state, and your license gets suspended. That’s why it’s critical to work with an agency that will stay on top of your renewals and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. We’ve handled hundreds of SR-22 filings, and we know how to keep you legal and on the road.
We’re local, we’re independent, and we actually answer the phone. That sounds basic, but it’s rare. Most people who call their insurance company end up in a phone tree or talking to someone in a call center who’s reading from a script and has no authority to make decisions.
When you call us, you talk to a licensed agent in Arizona who knows your policy and can make changes on the spot. We’ve been doing this since 2015, we’ve earned over 930 five-star reviews, and we were named Agents of the Year in 2023. We’re not saying that to brag—we’re saying it because it proves we do what we say we’re going to do.
The other difference: we represent over 40 carriers, so we’re not locked into one company’s rates or rules. If your current insurer raises your rate or drops you after a claim, we’re not scrambling to justify it. We’re finding you a better option. And we don’t charge you a dime for our service. We get paid by the insurance company, so there’s no cost to you for having someone in your corner who actually knows what they’re doing.
