You get someone who picks up the phone when you call. Not a queue. Not a bot. A person in Arizona who knows your name and remembers your last conversation.
You also get options. We work with over 100 insurance companies, including names you know like Progressive Insurance, GEICO, USAA, AAA Insurance, and Direct Auto Insurance. That means we’re not locked into one carrier’s rates or one company’s idea of what coverage you need.
When your premium jumps 50% with no warning, we can shop it. When your current insurer drops you after a claim, we already have alternatives lined up. And when Arizona’s wildfire risk or monsoon season changes your coverage needs, we adjust without you having to start over somewhere new.
The difference is simple. You’re not stuck. You’re not ignored. And you’re not paying for coverage that disappears the moment you need it.
Premier Choice Insurance is a family-owned independent agency based in Arizona. We’ve built our reputation on being available when it matters and honest when it’s uncomfortable.
We’re not GEICO or Progressive. We work with them, but we don’t work for them. That’s the difference. When rates spike or coverage shrinks, we’re on your side of the table.
Morristown residents deal with the same insurance chaos hitting the rest of Arizona—48% premium increases over three years, sudden policy cancellations, and carriers pulling out of high-risk zip codes. We’ve been helping people in your area navigate that mess with real conversations and multiple carrier options. Over 930 five-star Google reviews and recognition as Agents of the Year in 2023 didn’t come from scripted calls and auto-renewals.
First, we talk. You tell us what you’re paying now, what you’re covered for, and what’s been frustrating you. If your rate doubled after a claim or your insurer dropped you entirely, we need to know that upfront.
Then we shop. We pull quotes from our network of over 100 carriers—not just the ones running TV ads. That includes cheap car insurance options if you’re shopping on price, and comprehensive coverage from carriers like USAA Insurance or AAA Insurance if you need more protection.
We compare the options side by side. Not just price—coverage limits, deductibles, exclusions, and how each carrier handles claims in Arizona. You’ll see exactly what you’re getting and what you’re giving up with each option.
Once you choose, we handle the switch. That includes canceling your old policy so you’re not stuck dealing with your previous carrier. And when life changes—new car, new home, new driver in the household—we’re still here to adjust your coverage without starting from scratch.
Ready to get started?
You get access to over 100 insurance companies without making 100 phone calls. That includes direct auto insurance carriers, regional providers, and national names like Progressive Insurance Company and GEICO car insurance.
You also get coverage built for Arizona. Morristown sits in Maricopa County, where wildfire risk has pushed more than 15% of properties into higher-rate or cancellation territory. We know which carriers are still writing policies in high-risk areas and which ones are quietly pulling out. We know how monsoon damage gets handled and what “comprehensive” actually covers when a dust storm takes out your windshield.
There’s no cost for our services. Carriers pay us, not you. That means you get expert guidance, ongoing policy reviews, and someone to call when things go wrong—without paying extra for the privilege.
And you get local support. We’re not routing your call to a different state or a different country. When you need help, you’re talking to someone who understands Arizona insurance regulations, local weather risks, and what’s happening in your area. That matters more than people realize until they’re filing a claim at 8 p.m. and can’t reach anyone who knows what they’re talking about.
Arizona homeowners insurance rates jumped 48% over the past three years, and auto insurance climbed another 8% in early 2025. That puts Arizona in the top five states for rate increases nationwide.
Several things are driving it. Wildfire risk is pushing premiums higher across Maricopa County, where more than 15% of properties now face elevated rates or cancellations. Severe weather—monsoons, hail, high winds—leads to more claims, and insurers pass those costs to everyone. On the auto side, Arizona has a high number of uninsured drivers, expensive repairs, and a lot of accidents, especially around Phoenix.
Carriers are also pulling out of high-risk areas entirely or limiting new policies. That shrinks your options and gives the remaining insurers more pricing power. If you’ve been with the same company for years, you’re often paying more than new customers because they know you’re less likely to shop around. The rate you’re paying now probably isn’t the best one available—it’s just the one your current insurer thinks you’ll accept.
When you go directly to GEICO, Progressive, USAA, or AAA Insurance, you’re only seeing that one company’s rates and coverage. If their price jumps or they drop you, you start over with a new application somewhere else.
An independent agency works with dozens or hundreds of carriers at once. We can quote you with Progressive Insurance, GEICO car insurance, Direct Auto Insurance, and 100+ others in one conversation. If one carrier raises your rate, we move you to another one without you filling out new paperwork or losing coverage.
You also get a real person managing your policies over time. If you buy cheap car insurance today but need more coverage later, we adjust it. If your current carrier cancels your policy after a claim, we already have backup options ready. You’re not calling a 1-800 number and explaining your situation to someone new every time. You’re working with the same local agent who knows your history and can make changes fast.
Most people don’t know until something goes wrong. You file a claim and find out your deductible is higher than you thought, or your coverage maxed out halfway through the repairs, or your policy doesn’t cover the specific type of damage you just experienced.
The easiest way to find out is to have someone review your current policy against what’s available now. We do that at no cost. We’ll look at your coverage limits, deductibles, exclusions, and premium, then compare it to what other carriers are offering for the same protection.
If you’re overpaying, it usually shows up in one of two ways. Either your rate has crept up year after year while you’ve stayed with the same insurer, or you’re paying for coverage you don’t need. If you’re underinsured, it’s often because your policy hasn’t kept up with rising replacement costs, or because your agent never explained what’s excluded. Arizona-specific risks like wildfire, monsoon damage, and uninsured motorist coverage get missed more often than people realize.
We cancel it for you. You don’t have to call your old carrier, sit on hold, or deal with retention offers trying to talk you out of leaving.
Once your new policy is active, we submit the cancellation request to your previous insurer and make sure there’s no gap in coverage. If you’ve prepaid your premium, you’ll get a refund for the unused portion. That usually takes a few weeks, but it’s automatic.
The timing matters. We don’t cancel your old policy until the new one is fully in place. That way you’re never driving uninsured or leaving your home uncovered, even for a day. If there’s overlap, it’s intentional and brief—we’d rather have you covered twice for 24 hours than not covered at all.
If you’re switching because your current insurer dropped you or nonrenewed your policy, the process is the same. We just move faster. In Arizona, carriers have been canceling policies in high-risk areas without much notice, so we’re used to getting people covered quickly when their previous insurer pulls out.
Yes, but your options narrow and your rate will be higher than someone with a clean record. How much higher depends on what’s on your driving history, how recent it is, and which carriers we’re quoting.
Some insurance companies won’t touch a driver with a recent DUI or multiple at-fault accidents. Others specialize in high-risk drivers and price accordingly. A few will overlook one ticket or one minor accident if everything else looks good. We know which carriers are which, and we know how to position your application so you’re not getting auto-rejected.
Arizona’s average car insurance cost is already above the national average at $218 per month. If you’ve got violations on your record, you’re looking at more than that. But “affordable” is relative—you’re comparing what’s available to you now, not what someone with a perfect record pays. We focus on finding the lowest rate among carriers willing to cover you, and then working to improve that rate over time as your record cleans up.
Arizona’s minimum liability requirements are low—$25,000 per person for injuries, $50,000 per accident, and $15,000 for property damage. That sounds like a lot until you’re in an accident and the other driver’s medical bills hit $80,000, or you total someone’s $40,000 truck.
If you cause an accident and your coverage maxes out, you’re personally responsible for the rest. That means lawsuits, wage garnishments, and liens against your assets. Minimum coverage protects you from tickets, not financial disaster.
The other issue is uninsured drivers. Arizona has one of the highest rates of uninsured motorists in the country. If someone without insurance hits you, your minimum liability policy doesn’t help you at all—it only covers damage you cause to others. You’d need uninsured motorist coverage and collision coverage to protect yourself, and those aren’t included in the state minimum.
Cheap car insurance that meets the legal requirement is better than no insurance. But it’s not enough if you own a home, have savings, or can’t afford to replace your car out of pocket. We’ll walk you through what full coverage actually costs compared to the minimum, and you can decide what makes sense for your situation.
