Your homeowners premium went up 48% in three years. Your auto insurance jumped another 20% last renewal. And when you called your company, you got a scripted apology and zero solutions.
That’s not normal. And you shouldn’t have to accept it.
When you work with an independent agency, you’re not stuck with one company’s rates or one underwriter’s appetite. You get access to over 40 insurance carriers—including Progressive Insurance, GEICO car insurance, USAA insurance, AAA insurance, and Direct Auto—all quoting your coverage at once. That means real competition for your business. It means someone actually shopping on your behalf when renewal comes around, not just auto-renewing you into another increase.
You’re not starting over every time. You’re working with the same local agent who knows your history, your claims, your coverage needs. When your life changes or the market shifts, we’re already on it.
We’re a family-owned independent insurance agency based in Mesa, serving Wintersburg and the entire state of Arizona. We’ve been here through the rate spikes, the non-renewals, and the wildfire seasons that make Arizona homeowners insurance harder to find every year.
We’re not captive to one carrier. We represent over 40 top-rated insurance companies, which means we can move your coverage when your current company won’t budge on price or starts limiting coverage in your area. You call, we answer. You need a quote, we pull multiple. You file a claim, we’re the ones following up.
930+ five-star Google reviews. Agents of the Year 2023. Three Best Rated Insurance Agents in Mesa. We’re not listing those to brag—we’re listing them because they reflect what happens when you actually pick up the phone and treat people like people.
First, we talk. Not a form—an actual conversation about what you’re paying now, what coverage you have, and what’s changed since you last shopped. If you’ve been with the same company for 15 years, there’s a good chance your policy hasn’t kept up with your actual needs.
Then we quote. We run your information through our network of 40+ insurance carriers, including the big names like Progressive Insurance Company, GEICO, USAA car insurance, and Direct Auto Insurance, plus regional carriers that often beat them on price for Arizona drivers. You’re not filling out the same information six times on six websites—we handle that.
Once we’ve got your options, we walk through them. We’ll show you where you can save, where you’re underinsured, and what the difference in coverage actually means. If one company offers cheap car insurance but caps your liability at state minimums, we’ll tell you. If another charges a bit more but includes better wildfire or monsoon coverage, we’ll explain why that matters in Wintersburg.
When you’re ready, we bind the coverage and cancel your old policy for you. No overlap, no gap, no hassle.
Ready to get started?
Auto insurance in Arizona costs $218 a month on average—well above the national average of $196. But that number swings wildly depending on your carrier, your ZIP code, and how long you’ve been with the same company. Some drivers are paying 50% more than they should because they haven’t shopped in years.
Homeowners insurance is worse. Arizona saw the fourth-biggest rate increase in the country in 2024, with premiums jumping 11.4%. Some Wintersburg-area homeowners are seeing 50% to 100% annual increases, especially if they’re near wildfire risk zones. And it’s not just rate hikes—some insurance companies have stopped writing new policies in certain parts of the state entirely.
That’s where access matters. When you work with an independent agency, you’re not limited to one company’s underwriting rules or risk appetite. If USAA won’t write your home, we’ve got 39 other options. If Progressive quotes you high on auto, we can pull GEICO, AAA Insurance, Direct Auto Insurance Company, and a dozen others in the same sitting.
You’re comparing real options—apples to apples—so you know exactly what you’re getting and what you’re paying for. And when the market shifts again, we’re already positioned to move your coverage before the next renewal hits.
Arizona’s insurance market is reacting to a few major factors. Wildfire risk is climbing—Pinal County issued alerts in early 2025 warning that fire season is getting worse and lasting longer. Monsoon damage, hail, and dust storms add up fast. Repair costs are higher across the board, and some national carriers are pulling back from high-risk areas entirely.
Auto insurance is spiking for similar reasons. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a 20.6% increase in auto premiums in 2024—the largest jump in nearly 50 years. Parts are more expensive. Labor costs are up. And if you’ve filed a claim recently, your rate probably reflects that.
The short version: it’s not just you. But it also doesn’t mean you’re stuck. Shopping your coverage with an independent agency gives you access to carriers that are still competitive in Arizona, even when the big names aren’t.
A captive agent works for one insurance company. If you call a State Farm agent, they sell State Farm. If you call Allstate, you get Allstate. That’s it. If their company raises your rate or drops your coverage, your agent can’t move you anywhere else.
An independent agency like us represents multiple insurance companies—in our case, over 40. That means we can quote Progressive Insurance, GEICO car insurance, USAA insurance, Direct Auto, AAA insurance, and dozens of others all at once. If one company won’t cover you or quotes you too high, we’ve got options.
It also means we work for you, not the carrier. When renewal comes around, we’re shopping your policy again to make sure you’re still getting the best rate. If your current carrier jacks up your premium, we’re already pulling quotes from competitors. You’re not starting from scratch every time.
Cheap car insurance isn’t always a good deal if it leaves you underinsured. Arizona requires minimum liability limits, but those minimums—$25,000 per person for bodily injury—don’t go far when someone gets hurt. If you cause a serious accident and you’re only carrying state minimums, you’re personally on the hook for the rest.
That said, you don’t have to overpay for good coverage. The key is comparing the right carriers. GEICO, Progressive, USAA, and Direct Auto Insurance Company all compete aggressively in Arizona, and rates vary wildly depending on your driving history, your ZIP code, and how long you’ve been insured.
We pull quotes from all of them at once, so you can see where the price breaks are and what you’re actually getting. Sometimes the cheapest option is fine. Sometimes spending $20 more a month gets you double the liability coverage and better uninsured motorist protection. We’ll show you the difference so you can decide what makes sense.
Most people don’t know they’re underinsured until they file a claim. Then they find out their dwelling coverage hasn’t kept up with rebuild costs, or their policy excludes wind-driven rain, or they’re capped at $1,000 for water damage when the real bill is $15,000.
Arizona homeowners face specific risks that standard policies don’t always cover well. Wildfire smoke damage, monsoon flooding, dust storm impacts—these aren’t always automatic inclusions. And if your home’s value has gone up but your coverage hasn’t, you’re going to eat the difference out of pocket.
The easiest way to know if you’re covered properly is to have someone review your policy who actually understands Arizona risks. We do that as part of every quote. We’ll look at your current declarations page, compare it to rebuild costs in your area, and flag anything that’s missing or outdated. If your coverage is solid, we’ll tell you. If it’s not, we’ll show you what it costs to fix it.
Non-renewals are happening more often in Arizona, especially for homeowners in high-risk fire zones or people who’ve filed multiple claims in a short window. If your carrier decides not to renew your policy, they’re required to give you notice—usually 30 to 60 days—but that doesn’t leave you much time to find replacement coverage.
That’s where having an independent agent matters. If your policy gets non-renewed, we’re already plugged into 40+ other carriers. We know which companies are still writing new business in your area, and we can get you quoted and bound before your current coverage expires. You’re not scrambling to find someone who’ll take you.
If you’re worried about a non-renewal or you’ve already received notice, call us now. The closer you get to your cancellation date, the fewer options you’ll have. We’ve placed coverage for plenty of people in this exact situation—it’s fixable, but it’s a lot easier if you don’t wait until the last week.
No. If you just want to shop your auto insurance and leave your homeowners where it is, that’s fine. If you only want to requote your home policy, we can do that too. You’re not locked into bundling everything, and we’re not going to pressure you to move coverage that’s already working.
That said, bundling usually saves you money. Most carriers discount your premium if you place multiple policies with them—sometimes 10% to 25% depending on the company. And it simplifies things when you’ve got one agent handling all your coverage instead of calling three different companies when something changes.
We’ll quote it both ways and show you the numbers. If bundling saves you money, great. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you that too. The goal is to get you the best coverage at the best price—whether that’s with one carrier or split across two.
