You get access to over 40 top-rated carriers—Progressive, Geico, USAA, AAA, direct auto insurance companies, and dozens more—without making 40 phone calls. That’s the advantage of working with an independent agency instead of a single-carrier agent who can only sell you one option.
Here’s what that looks like in practice. You tell us what you’re paying now and what coverage you actually need. We run your profile through multiple carriers and show you real quotes, side by side. No pressure. No upselling gap coverage you don’t need. Just the facts about what each policy covers and what it costs.
And when your rate jumps next year—because Arizona auto insurance rates are climbing across the board—you’re not stuck. You call us, we re-shop it, and if there’s a better option, we move you. That’s how it should work.
We’re a family-owned independent agency based right here in Arizona. We’ve been helping drivers across the state—including El Mirage—find better car insurance without the hassle of dealing with call centers or automated systems that don’t actually solve anything.
We’ve earned over 930 five-star Google reviews, been named Agents of the Year in 2023, and recognized as Three Best Rated Insurance Agents in Mesa. That didn’t happen by accident. It happened because we answer the phone, we’re physically in the office, and we treat your policy like it matters—because it does.
El Mirage drivers deal with the same challenges as the rest of Maricopa County: rising premiums, increasing traffic on the 303 and Grand Avenue, and insurers who hike your rate after one claim. We get it. And we’re here to help you navigate it without the runaround.
First, we talk. You tell us what you’re paying now, what happened at renewal, and what you actually need covered. If you’ve been with the same company for years and your rate just jumped, we want to know why. If you filed a claim and suddenly got a cancellation notice, we need to see that too.
Then we shop. We pull quotes from our network of 40+ carriers—including the big names like Progressive Insurance, Geico car insurance, USAA insurance, AAA insurance, and direct auto insurance companies—and compare coverage line by line. You’re not just looking at price. You’re looking at liability limits, comprehensive and collision deductibles, uninsured motorist coverage, and whether the policy actually protects you or just meets the state minimum.
Once you pick a policy, we handle the switch. That includes canceling your old policy if you want us to—no charge for that service. And when life changes—new car, new driver, new address—you call us and we update it. That’s the ongoing support you don’t get when you buy cheap car insurance online and hope for the best.

Every auto insurance company structures their policies a little differently, which is why comparing quotes on your own gets confusing fast. You’re not just comparing price—you’re comparing liability limits, how they handle claims, whether they cover rental cars, and how much your rate will jump after an accident.
El Mirage drivers face some specific challenges. Your average commute is over 30 minutes, which means more time on the road and higher exposure to accidents. Arizona’s uninsured driver rate is higher than the national average, so uninsured motorist coverage isn’t optional—it’s essential. And with auto insurance rates in Arizona expected to jump 22% by the end of 2024, locking in a competitive rate now matters more than it did two years ago.
When we show you quotes, we’re looking at the whole picture. That includes how each carrier handles rate increases, whether they drop customers after claims, and what their customer service actually looks like when you need to file. Progressive insurance might be cheaper upfront, but if Geico car insurance offers better claims support and only costs $10 more a month, that’s worth knowing. Same goes for USAA insurance if you’re military, or AAA insurance if you want bundled roadside assistance.
Arizona auto insurance rates are climbing for a few specific reasons, and they’re hitting El Mirage drivers just like everyone else in the state. Premiums increased 20.6% in 2024 alone—the largest jump in nearly 50 years.
The biggest factor is claims costs. When repair costs go up, premiums follow. Cars are more expensive to fix now because of advanced technology, parts shortages, and labor costs. A fender bender that used to cost $2,000 to repair now runs $4,000 or more if there’s a sensor or camera involved. Insurers price that risk into your premium.
Arizona’s growing population is also a factor. More people means more traffic, and more traffic means more accidents. The 303 loop and Grand Avenue are busier than they were five years ago, and that shows up in claims data. Add in Arizona’s high rate of uninsured drivers and rising litigation costs, and you’ve got a market where rates are going up across the board—no matter which auto insurance company you’re with.
Cheap car insurance sounds great until you file a claim and realize your policy doesn’t actually cover what you thought it did. Price matters, but it’s not the only thing that matters.
Arizona requires liability coverage—$25,000 per person for injuries, $50,000 per accident, and $15,000 for property damage. That’s the legal minimum, but it’s not enough if you cause a serious accident. If you hit someone and the medical bills run $60,000, you’re personally on the hook for the extra $35,000. That’s why most drivers carry higher limits, and why the cheapest policy isn’t always the smartest one.
You also want to look at uninsured motorist coverage, comprehensive and collision deductibles, and how the company handles claims. Some direct auto insurance companies offer rock-bottom rates but make filing a claim a nightmare. Others cost a little more but actually pick up the phone and process claims quickly. When we show you quotes, we’re comparing all of that—not just the monthly premium.
When you call Progressive Insurance or Geico car insurance directly, you’re getting a quote from one company. That’s it. If their rate is high or their coverage doesn’t fit, your only option is to call the next company and start over.
When you work with an independent agency like us, you’re getting quotes from 40+ carriers at once—including Progressive, Geico, USAA insurance, AAA insurance, and plenty of others you’ve probably never heard of but might offer better rates. We’re not tied to one company, so we’re not trying to force you into a policy that doesn’t fit.
The other big difference is what happens after you buy. If you call Geico directly and your rate jumps next year, you’re stuck re-shopping on your own. If you work with us and your rate jumps, you call us and we re-shop it for you. That ongoing support is included—no extra cost. You’re not just buying a policy. You’re getting someone in your corner who actually picks up the phone.
USAA insurance is only available to military members, veterans, and their families, and you have to buy it directly from USAA. We can’t quote it for you. But if you’re eligible for USAA, you should absolutely get a quote from them—they’re consistently competitive for military families.
AAA insurance is a little different. AAA policies are underwritten by different carriers depending on where you live, and in Arizona, we can often access those same carriers through our network. So while we can’t sell you an AAA-branded policy, we can get you quotes from the same underwriters, sometimes at a better rate.
If you’re set on a specific carrier, we’ll tell you upfront whether we can access them or not. And if we can’t, we’ll show you what else is available so you can make an informed decision. The goal isn’t to sell you on one company—it’s to show you all your options and let you pick what makes sense.
You call your insurance company to file the claim—that part doesn’t change no matter where you bought your policy. But here’s where working with an independent agency makes a difference: if something goes wrong, you call us.
If the claim gets denied and you don’t understand why, we review the policy and help you figure out what happened. If the adjuster is lowballing your repair estimate, we can walk you through your options. If your rate spikes after the claim or the carrier tries to drop you, we re-shop your policy and find you a better option.
That’s the support you don’t get when you buy direct auto insurance online or through a call center. You’re not just a policy number in a system. You’re working with a local agency that knows your name and actually has a reason to help you when things go sideways.
Most people don’t know they have coverage gaps until they file a claim and find out something isn’t covered. That’s usually too late. The better move is to review your policy now, before you need it.
We do that as part of the quoting process. We look at your current policy and compare it to what you’re being quoted. If your liability limits are too low, we’ll tell you. If you’re missing uninsured motorist coverage or your deductibles are set too high, we’ll point that out. If you’re paying for coverage you don’t actually need, we’ll show you where you can cut costs without cutting protection.
El Mirage drivers should pay close attention to uninsured motorist coverage, especially with Arizona’s high rate of uninsured drivers. You also want to make sure your liability limits are high enough to protect your assets if you cause a serious accident. The state minimum isn’t enough for most people. We’ll walk you through what makes sense based on your situation—not based on what earns us the highest commission.
