Your rate jumped 22% this year. You filed one claim and suddenly you’re getting non-renewal notices. Or you’ve been with the same company for 15 years and just realized your coverage has more gaps than protection.
Here’s what’s different. You call, a real person answers. You explain your situation once—not to a bot, not to five different people. We pull quotes from over 40 auto insurance companies including Progressive, GEICO, State Farm, USAA, AAA, and Direct Auto. You see the actual numbers, the actual coverage differences, and you decide what makes sense.
Most people who switch through an independent agency like ours save around $461 a year. That’s not a teaser rate that expires in six months. It’s what happens when you’re not locked into one company’s pricing and you have someone locally who knows how Arizona’s market actually works—the uninsured driver problem, the no-deductible glass coverage option, the rate increases hitting everyone right now.
We’re a family-owned independent agency based right here in Arizona. We’ve earned over 930 five-star Google reviews and the Agents of the Year 2023 award because we do what most insurance companies stopped doing—we pick up the phone, we sit down with you if you want to come in, and we actually explain what you’re buying.
We’re not GEICO or Progressive or USAA. We work with all of them. That means when your rate spikes or your claim gets messy, you’re not stuck. We represent more than 100 insurance carriers, so if one isn’t treating you right, we move your policy. No cost to you for our service—we get paid by the carriers, not by marking up your premium.
Litchfield Park drivers deal with the same challenges as the rest of Maricopa County: rising accident rates, 18% of drivers on the road uninsured, and premiums climbing faster than wages. You need someone who understands that and has the tools to do something about it.
First, you reach out—phone, email, or walk into our office. We ask about your current coverage, your vehicles, your driving record, and what’s frustrating you about your current insurer. This takes about 10 minutes.
Then we shop your profile across our network of carriers. We’re pulling quotes from cheap car insurance options and premium carriers alike—Direct Auto, Progressive Insurance Company, AAA Insurance, USAA Car Insurance if you’re eligible, and dozens more. You’re not filling out the same form on 10 different websites. We do that part.
Within a day or two, we walk you through the options. We explain what each policy actually covers, where the gaps are, and what you’re paying for. If you want the lowest price, we’ll show you that. If you want better protection than your current policy, we’ll show you that too. You pick what fits.
Once you decide, we handle the paperwork and the switch. We’ll even cancel your old policy if you want. If something changes down the road—you buy a new car, your kid starts driving, you move—you call us and we adjust it. That’s the whole process.
Ready to get started?
You get access to over 40 top-rated auto insurance companies without needing to call each one separately. That includes national names like Progressive Insurance, GEICO Car Insurance, USAA Insurance, AAA Insurance, and Direct Auto Insurance Company, plus regional carriers that often beat the big guys on price or service.
You also get a local agent who knows Arizona’s insurance landscape. We understand that Litchfield Park sits in a county where fatal crashes jumped from 811 in 2015 to 967 in 2020. We know Arizona’s unique no-deductible glass coverage law, which matters when you’re replacing windshields twice a year from freeway rock chips. We know the theft trends, the high-risk ZIP codes, and which carriers are actually paying claims fairly right now versus which ones are dragging their feet.
If your rate jumps or you need to file a claim, you’re not navigating that alone. We’re here to review your policy, advocate on your behalf, and move you to a different carrier if the current one isn’t holding up their end. That ongoing support is included—no extra fees, no surprise charges. You’re working with a locally based, fully licensed team that’s been recognized as Three Best Rated Insurance Agents in Mesa and serves the entire state.
Arizona drivers are paying an average of $218 per month for car insurance right now, and that number keeps climbing. The companies betting you won’t shop around are the ones raising rates the fastest. When you work with an independent agency, you’re not betting on one company. You’re comparing all of them, every time it matters.
Arizona car insurance rates are expected to increase by 22% in 2024, and it’s not just one factor driving it. The state’s population has grown to over 7.4 million people, which means more drivers on the road and higher accident rates. Fatal crashes in Arizona increased from 811 in 2015 to 967 in 2020, and insurers are paying out more in claims as a result.
On top of that, the cost to repair vehicles has skyrocketed. Parts are more expensive, labor rates are up, and modern cars have sensors and cameras that cost thousands to replace after even minor accidents. Insurers are adjusting premiums to cover these rising claim costs. Nationwide, the average monthly premium hit $196 in 2024, but Arizona drivers are paying $218—well above the national average.
The other issue is that about 18% of Arizona drivers are uninsured. When an uninsured driver hits you, your own policy often has to cover the damage, which drives up costs for everyone. If your rate jumped recently and you haven’t shopped around, you’re likely overpaying. Carriers raise rates hoping you won’t notice or won’t bother switching, but most people who do switch save over $400 a year.
When you buy directly from GEICO, Progressive, USAA, or any other single carrier, you’re locked into that company’s rates and service. If your rate goes up or they deny a claim, your only option is to start over with a new company—new application, new phone calls, new hassle.
When you work with an independent insurance agency like us, you’re getting access to 40+ carriers at once, including GEICO, Progressive Insurance, USAA Car Insurance, State Farm, AAA Insurance, Direct Auto, and many others. We compare all of them for you in one conversation. If your rate spikes with one carrier, we can move your policy to another one without you lifting a finger.
The other big difference is service. If you call GEICO or Progressive directly, you’re talking to a call center rep who’s handling hundreds of calls a day and reading from a script. If you work with a local independent agent, you’re talking to the same person every time—someone who knows your name, your coverage, and your history. When you need to file a claim or adjust your policy, you’re not explaining your situation to a stranger.
There’s no extra cost for this. We get paid by the insurance companies, not by you. You’re paying the same premium you’d pay buying direct, but you’re getting local service and way more options.
Arizona’s minimum legal requirement is 25/50/15 liability coverage. That means $25,000 per person for injuries, $50,000 per accident, and $15,000 for property damage. It’s cheap, but it’s not nearly enough if you cause a serious accident.
If you hit someone and send them to the hospital, medical bills can easily exceed $100,000. If you’re only carrying $25,000 in coverage, you’re personally responsible for the rest. They can come after your savings, your home, your wages. The same goes for property damage—if you total someone’s $60,000 truck, your $15,000 in coverage won’t come close.
Most people should carry at least 100/300/100 liability coverage, which means $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident, and $100,000 for property damage. It costs more, but not as much as you’d think—usually an extra $20 to $40 a month depending on your driving record and vehicle. You should also add uninsured motorist coverage, because 18% of Arizona drivers don’t have insurance at all. If one of them hits you, uninsured motorist coverage is what pays for your injuries and repairs.
Comprehensive and collision coverage are optional if you own your car outright, but they’re worth considering. Comprehensive covers theft, vandalism, weather damage, and hitting an animal. Collision covers damage from accidents regardless of who’s at fault. If your car is worth more than a few thousand dollars, you’ll want both.
Yes, and the numbers back it up. The median savings for people who switch insurance companies is $461 per year. That’s not a promotional rate—it’s what happens when you compare multiple carriers and find one that prices your risk more favorably.
Insurance companies don’t all calculate rates the same way. One carrier might charge you more because of a speeding ticket from three years ago, while another one doesn’t weigh it as heavily. One might offer better rates for drivers over 50, while another gives bigger discounts for bundling home and auto. If you’ve been with the same company for years and haven’t shopped around, there’s a good chance you’re overpaying.
The other thing to know is that loyalty doesn’t pay in insurance. Companies used to reward long-term customers with lower rates, but that’s mostly gone. Now, they’re more likely to raise your rate slowly over time, betting you won’t notice or won’t bother switching. New customers often get better rates than people who’ve been with the company for a decade.
When you work with an independent agent, we’re comparing 40+ carriers at once—Progressive, GEICO, Direct Auto Insurance, USAA, AAA, and many others. We’re not trying to sell you one specific company. We’re finding the best rate and coverage for your situation. If your current rate feels high, it probably is. It takes one conversation to find out.
Filing a claim works the same whether you bought your policy directly from the carrier or through an independent agent like us. You contact the insurance company, report the accident or damage, and they assign an adjuster to handle your claim. The difference is what happens when things don’t go smoothly.
If you bought directly from the carrier and your claim gets denied or delayed, you’re on your own. You can call their customer service line and argue your case, but you’re dealing with the same company that denied you in the first place. If you’re working with an independent agent, you call us. We review the claim, we push back on the carrier if they’re being unreasonable, and if they still won’t treat you fairly, we move your policy to a different company.
The other advantage is that we know which carriers in Arizona are actually good at handling claims and which ones make it difficult. Some companies have a reputation for fast, fair payouts. Others rotate adjusters multiple times during a single claim, drag out the process, and lowball settlements. We steer you toward the companies that do right by their customers, and we’re here to help if something goes wrong.
One more thing—if you file a claim and your rate goes up or your policy gets non-renewed, that’s not the end of the road. We represent over 100 carriers. If one drops you, we find you coverage with another. You’re not starting from scratch every time something happens.
Yes, because collision and liability don’t cover you if you’re hit by someone who doesn’t have insurance—and in Arizona, that’s nearly one in five drivers. Uninsured motorist coverage is what pays for your medical bills and vehicle damage when the at-fault driver has no insurance or not enough to cover your losses.
Here’s how it works. Let’s say someone runs a red light and totals your car. You’re injured, your car is destroyed, and the other driver is clearly at fault. But when the police run their information, they either have no insurance or they’re carrying Arizona’s minimum $25,000 liability limit. Your medical bills alone are $40,000. Without uninsured motorist coverage, you’re stuck paying the difference out of pocket or hoping your health insurance covers it.
Uninsured motorist coverage steps in and pays what the at-fault driver should have paid. It covers your injuries, your lost wages, and in some cases, your vehicle damage. It also covers hit-and-run accidents where the other driver takes off and you never get their information. Given that Arizona ranks 29th in the nation for uninsured drivers at 18%, this coverage is worth having.
The cost is usually pretty reasonable—often $10 to $20 a month depending on your limits. Most people should carry uninsured motorist coverage that matches their liability limits. So if you’re carrying 100/300 liability, you’d want 100/300 uninsured motorist as well. It’s one of those coverages you hope you never need, but if you do need it, you’ll be glad it’s there.
